Modulator needed by the servo valve
The Modulator block is needed by the servo valve. Each of
the four valve flows, q1, q2,
q3, and q4, is characterized by
an underlap, x0. Each of the four flows is
proportional to either x0 + x or x0
- x, depending on the topology. These two proportionality
factors are computed by the Modulator block. They are used
as modulation signals in the four hydraulic conductor models
representing the turbulent valve flows.
