The CheckValveInflow is actually a transceiver
that simply passes on a connected flow if that flow fills
the connected stock (portB). This will most often
be relevant for more complex subsystems where the flows being
connected may not be clear in advance and where this element allows
to avoid unwanted draining.
Implementation
- The stock value received at the flow side and a potential
boolean flag stopOutflow are also passed on to the stock
port. Thus the model will behave as if the flow connected to the
CheckValve were directly connected to the stock
itself.
- The reported rate is a positive value indicating rate of inflow
with regard to the connected stock B.
