The model is designed to test the generator and load components
of the Electrical
library.
Simulation sequence:
- t=0 s: The system starts at equilibrium. 20% of the active
power produced by the generator is consumed by the local load,
while the remaining 80% is fed to the grid via a transmission
line.
- t=1 s: The local load is brought to zero. As a consequence, 20%
of the active power production is now rerouted to the grid
During the transient, electro-mechanical oscillations are
triggered. The theoretical pseudo-period is T =
sqrt(2*pi*Ta*Xpu/fnom) = 0.35, which corresponds to the
observed one.
